How does one outdo such a gracious lady – who is hosting a line dance marathon with an international dance list from 10 am to 6 pm in a huge airy dance hall with fabulous dance floors and flawless music machine c/w DJ – for the third consecutive year?

And she absolutely would not hear of us spending a ringgit (Malaysian one dollar note) on any hotel accommodation or even food.  Yes, Jit Phong and her sisters even got our lunch sorted out.  Delicious Johor curry laksa eaten in the comfort of her kitchen; and simply irresistable nasi lemak with ikan bilis sambal.

Next time you are in JB, you must NOT miss the fish meat soup cooked with yam. In a claypot.  Words can’t describe the heavenly taste of this dish.  Pity I was so carried away with eating that no time was spared to take a photo of the sumptuous dinner spread.

We even had a pyjama party at Jit Phong’s spare house.  Mattresses were spread out in the spacious living room; and we gossiped in our bewildering assortment of night clothes.  Sorry, can’t publish the pictures.  We look too good - must be careful not to attract unwanted attention, you know….

I would rate the event a huge success – judging by the line dance kakis who were already there early and the floors being filled at all times.  Music was being played non stop.  The atmosphere was so positively charged and it was really wonderful to meet friends from other Malaysian states and Singapore.

Thank you, Jit Phong, Jit Mui and Brenda for giving us so much tender loving care during our stay with you and at your event.  We have finished up entirely all the food supplies in your kitchen.  We hope the basket of red apples, red chillis, red dragon fruits, red tomatoes, red jambu can compensate somehow.

I can’t wait to Dance4Peace again this December – and look forward to traveling again with Maggie, Leslie and Annie.  Absolutely love this dedicated fun-filled trio.  The lovely pair of ladies in Margaret Lee and Ms Lim are phenomenal too.  You should have seen them trying to give me crash courses on some dances that Saturday night.

Now, I will shut up and let the pictures do the talking.
